We were so lucky with the weather today and our efforts at the plant sale raised £670. An enormous thank you to everyone who came along to help and to buy.

Who We Are
We are a group of local volunteers committed to the maintenance, preservation and enhancement of the natural beauty of The Hollies woodland area.
The Hollies are situated in Weetwood, Leeds, and are linked to Meanwood Park.
Upon entering The Hollies from Weetwood Lane, there is a formally planted area with native and exotic tree species. This is set alongside seating areas and open spaces. The gardens contain an amazing variety of species!

Friends Of The Hollies 
Had my car window smashed and property stolen from my car on Saturday while parked in Hollies carpark whilst on a walk after the plant sale. Some property was found in the grounds of the Hostel adjacent to the car park so maybe they’d been hanging out there watching. Was so busy there on Saturday – can’t believe it! Walkers beware! Saw a nesting spotted woodpecker and 2 tree creepers in the woods so wasn’t all bad.
Very sorry to hear that Helen – did you get a crime number from the police?
