The Friends of The Hollies have placed a plaque in the Collections Garden commemorating the gift of The Hollies to the City of Leeds in 1921.

We are a group of local volunteers committed to the maintenance, preservation and enhancement of the natural beauty of The Hollies woodland area.
The Hollies are situated in Weetwood, Leeds, and are linked to Meanwood Park.
Upon entering The Hollies from Weetwood Lane, there is a formally planted area with native and exotic tree species. This is set alongside seating areas and open spaces. The gardens contain an amazing variety of species!
That’s excellent! Well done Liz, Harry and everyone involved! Andrew
