Our next working party is on Saturday, meeting at 10am in The Hollies car park. Home-made refreshments as usual!
Hope you can join us – even helping for half an hour can make a difference.
A big thank you to everyone who supported the plant sale last Saturday!
We are very grateful to everyone who donated plants, made cakes, and helped arrange items and then clear up. But especially everyone who bought plants! Thank you.

Many thanks to John-Paul Ashton for his photo of the daffodils that The Friends planted last autumn!
Following the success of our plant sale last year, we are pleased to reveal that we are holding another one on Saturday 11 May!
The sale will be held just beyond the car park in The Hollies, starting at 11am. There will be herbs, vegetables, shrubs, bedding plants and much more, including home made refreshments!
Come along to buy some plants and say hello.
Hope to see you there!
A big thank you to everyone who helped on Saturday. We cut back lots of laurels, hollies and overhanging branches – opening up the path and making it much lighter! It’s all ready for planting later in the year.
Just a reminder that we are meeting tomorrow at 10am in the main entrance. Bring secateurs and saws.
Here are some

Thanks for the photo Harry!

Have you been in The Hollies recently? The daffodils that The Friends planted in the autumn are looking fabulous now that the snow has gone!
Our next working party is on Saturday 13th April and although the ground is too hard at the moment for planting, we will be preparing an area for more daffodils later in the year. Please bring secateurs and saws! We will provide home-made refreshments.
There has been a rock slide in The Hollies and there is currently no access to the car park. We will meet in the main entrance at 10am – parking is available along Weetwood Lane or in the main Meanwood Park car park on Green Road.
A big thank you to everyone who turned up last Saturday, despite the rain! We cleared lots of brambles, uncovered a drainage channel and got another drainage ditch and pipe flowing freely.
