Thanks to all our volunteers who came along to our September meeting and worked so hard to clear a large area ready for bulb planting this month. We have around 5,000 spring bulbs which should keep everybody busy for a couple of hours or so! Fortunately we have been offered help from the Leeds University Union Conservation Volunteers which we have gratefully accepted.
The ground is still muddy so stout walking shoes are recommended along with gardening gloves and trowels & spades if you have them. As ever we will be rewarded with a hot drink and home made cakes when we finish! Meet as usual at 10am in The Hollies car park.
