Many thanks to the large number of volunteers who came along in February. We managed to clear huge areas of brambles and clear out a lot of blocked drainage ditches – muddy work but well worthwhile!

Our next meet is Saturday 11th March meeting at 10am as usual in the car park. We’ll be doing more of the same kind of work so bring spades, forks, secateurs and loppers if possible. It’s even more muddy than last time so decent footwear and gloves are essential. The snowdrops and daffodils we planted are looking fantastic and should spur us on whilst we’re working!

Hot drinks and homemade cakes will be our reward when we’ve finished.

Saturday 20th May – Plant sale 9.30am

Saturday 10th June – 10am

The plant sale is on the THIRD Saturday of May and replaces our working session on the second Saturday. Please bear the date in mind as we’ll be looking for volunteers to help set up, run the stalls, bake cakes and help clear up afterwards – there’ll be more details in next month’s e-mail.
