Thanks to everyone who came along in March and helped out with more cutting back and clearing.

Well – spring is officially here and, despite the snow, we have a fantastic display of daffodils throughout The Hollies. Thanks to everyone who took part in the planting session last year.

Our next working session takes place on Saturday 14th April at 10am, meeting in the main Hollies car park off Weetwood Lane. The ground will probably still be muddy so wear appropriate footwear and bring any garden tools you have. We’ll work for around two hours and finish off with hot drinks and home made cakes – a much needed reward for all our hard work!

Our next date is on Saturday 19th May (the 3rd Saturday in May NOT the 2nd) which is our annual fund raising plant sale. We’ll be asking for volunteers to help on the day – especially for setting up from 8.45 to 9.30am when the sale starts and also to run the drinks and cake stall. If you’re also able to make a cake that would be great too. We’ll give more details on 14th April but if you’re not going to be there send an e-mail to let us know if you can help.

Future dates:
May 19th at 9.30am will be our annual plant sale – we’ll be needing volunteers on the day so please keep the date free
June 9th at 10am
July 14th at 10am
