Thanks to all our volunteers who attended in March. We cleared up a lot of overgrown areas which will hopefully benefit from our work over the coming months.

We meet up again on Saturday April 9th at 10am in the main car park and will continue with general clearing work. Tools will be provided but feel free to bring your own and remember your gardening gloves and sturdy footwear. All work is organised and supervised by the head gardener Frank and we generally work for two hours after which hot drinks and home made cakes are provided.

In previous years we have held a fund raising plant sale instead of having a working session in May and we will be returning to this on Saturday 14th May.

We will still need volunteers to help out at the sale which will start at 9.30am, and we also need people from 9am to help with setting up and again at 11am to help clear away.

We will also have a coffee and cake stall and would appreciate a couple of volunteers to run this. Any donations of cakes to sell are welcome.

You can also help in buying plants and spreading the word to friends and relatives to do the same.

All profits go to buy bulbs, shrubs and equipment for The Hollies.
